Homemade “Almond Joy” Candy Bars with Coconut Milk and Flaxseed

almond butter
honey or maple syrup
@BareOrganicsSuperfoods ground flaxseed
@BarOrganicsSuperfoods coconut milk
coconut oil


1. In a large bowl, mix 3/4 cup almond butter*, 3/4 honey or maple syrup, 1/3 cup @BareOrganicsSuperfoods ground flaxseed, 1/3 cup @BarOrganicsSuperfoods coconut milk and 1 tbsp coconut oil (or coconut almond butter, if you don’t have, just use regular AB and add 1/4 cup shredded coconut).

2. Line a loaf pan with parchment paper and press mixture into pan using your hand. Place in the freezer for 20 minutes to harden.

3. Melt milk or dark chocolate and pour evenly over mixture, using a spatula or spoon to spread. Sprinkle with sea salt. Place back in the freezer for about 20 minutes.

4. Slice into 8-10. Store in the fridge or freezer.
