Pumped Up Pesto

1 cup toasted pine nuts

1/2 cup nutritional yeast

3 handfuls fresh basil

3 cloves garlic, chopped

Sea salt & black pepper

1 tbsp. olive oil

2 tsp BareOrganics Spirulina Powder

1 tbsp. fresh lemon juice


  1. Pour garlic & basil into food processor, pulse into fine mixture.
  2. Add pine nuts and olive oil and blend together until smooth.
  3. Stir in lemon juice, nutritional yeast and Spirulina powder.
  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Enjoy over pasta or as a dip or sandwich spread.
